North
Church - United Church of Christ
North Church began in
a log cabin in 1641 led by Reverend Joshua
Moodey and Reverend Nathaniel Rogers. In 1971 the church moved to a meeting
house located at the corner of South St. and Marcy St. Almost a century later,
the church moved to its’ current location on Market Street in downtown
Portsmouth. In 1957, the church joined the United Church of Christ (UCC). Noteworthy worshippers over the years include
General William Whipple, signer of the Declaration of Independence; John
Langdon, signer of the U.S. Constitution; Daniel Webster, John Paul Jones, and
President George Washington.

Our custom pewter
pieces are truly one-of-a-kind, and our goal is to take the customer's vision
and bring it to fruition. The process starts with an idea, a
design, and/or a picture, and we begin discussing with the client ideas for
bringing that vision to life. The process is truly a collaboration between our
customer, our artists, our pewtersmiths, and our owners, and the end result is
always something to be proud of.
