Loudon, NH: Celebrating 250 Years of History and Progress
Loudon, New Hampshire is a town in Merrimack County, New Hampshire. It was incorporated in 1773 by Governor John Wentworth. The population was roughly 5600 in the 2020 census. One of its large attractions is the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. In honor of their 250-year anniversary, the town commissioned Hampshire Pewter to create a custom ornament. Loudon wanted to feature the town hall so our artists created a design showing the city hall that used to be a church, surrounded by a snow-cloaked ground, church-goers outside and a horse-drawn sleigh.

Hampshire Pewter has been making an annual Christmas ornament
for the Guilford Keeping Society for several years. A few of the landmarks they
have featured include the Faulkner Island Light, the Monroe Cottage, the Henry
Whitfield House, and the Cranbrook Tower. This year they chose to highlight the

Airfield Café Custom Ornament
The Airfield Café, in North Hampton, NH, requested a custom
ornament featuring the restaurant’s logo. After collaborating with our artist,
we decided on a circular ornament reading “The Airfield Café,” “North Hampton, NH,” “Est. 1996.” The center
shows their logo, a plane flying backwards with a pilot facing the opposite direction. The Airfield Café is a well-known establishment with a tremendous
loyal following.

Swing Bridge in Milford, NH
The Swing
Bridge in Milford, NH
The Swing Bridge is a 200 foot iron cable suspended footbridge, spanning
the Souhegan River in Milford New Hampshire. Built in 1889, pedestrians
continue to use the bridge to this day. It's located on Souhegan St. and crosses
the river into downtown near Pine St. The custom ornament was commissioned by the
Milford Historical Society.

The Castle Preservation Society has
commissioned Hampshire Pewter to do a sixth custom ornament for their Castle in
the Clouds series. The custom piece we have collaborated on features the
pergola located at the Lucknow Estate. It shows a flower lined colonnade which

200th Anniversary
We have made many custom ornaments for churches over the
years. Our most recent is the First Presbyterian Church of Salem, New Jersey.
The church was founded in 1821 and the ornament shows the ornate building. The
church is celebrating its’ 200th anniversary and it was our pleasure
to create this ornament for them.
Barrington, NH - Tricentennial Celebration

The Barrington Tricentennial Committee will be marking the
300th Anniversary of Barrington, New Hampshire with a celebration in
2022. They have assigned us the task of creating a series of three custom
ornaments, one of which was released last year. The first ornament features Barrington
Depot, the town’s old train station that no longer remains.
400th Anniversary of Dover, New Hampshire

Dover, NH chose Garrison Hill Tower to be featured on the 2nd
of 4 ornaments celebrating Dover’s 400th Anniversary. The tower is
located north of downtown atop Garrison Hill and offers a sweeping view of the
seacoast region, reaching as far as the Isles of Shoals and the White Mountains

Vandalia, IL - 200th Anniversary

One
of our recent custom collaborations was with Vandalia Historical Society in Vandalia, Illinois to celebrate the cities 200th Anniversary. The
ornaments were given to all attendees of their 2019 Christmas Gala at the historic
Vandalia Statehouse. The Gala was an elegant event held December 6th
with food, drinks and live music. The Vandalia Historical Society is
responsible for maintaining the Little Brick House, supporting the Historic
Vandalia Statehouse, and promoting the rich history of Vandalia and the impact
it has had on the development and growth of Illinois.
2019 Custom Ornament | Camp Calumet

Calumet - Custom Ornament
Last year we were assigned the
fun task of creating a custom ornament for Camp Calumet.
The camp was founded in 1959 and is located on picturesque Lake Ossipee, in Freedom, NH. Calumet
is a year-round ministry of the Lutheran churches in New England. The ornament design they chose features a starry sky, pine trees, two figures beside a bonfire and a large setting sun in the background. A small crescent moon is cut out of the ornament. The name of the camp is featured on a banner across the bottom and 2019 is written across the top. The back of the ornament shows Lake Ossipee with sailboats afloat as well as a canoe rack. Auburn, NH - 175th Anniversary
Auburn, NH | 175 Years
Auburn, NH commissioned us to create a custom ornament commemorating
their 175th anniversary. Auburn is a small town located 12 miles east
of Manchester, NH. The ornament design they chose features a minute man
standing in front of the Lake Massabesic, the town’s largest body of water.
Originally settled by Native Americans as a fishing village called Massabesic, meaning "the place of much water," Auburn was finally incorporated with its’ current town name in 1845. Auburn, NH
provides the perfect balance of rural living amidst New England’s picturesque
scenery, while still offering quick and easy access to the city.
Redeemer Classical School - Custom Ornament
Redeemer Classical School - Christmas Ornament
Redeemer Classical School commissioned us to create a custom ornament for their school located in Keezletown, Virginia. The school began in 2004 with only 15 middle school students. It now enrolls over 140 students ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade. Jaye Brumfield, Director of Development, said "I've been dreaming of creating something like this for the school for some time and our 15th anniversary provided a great reason to do so." The design for the ornament features an oak tree from the school’s logo as well as the griffin crest. Additionally, it has a bible verse, Isaiah 61:3, inscribed on the back. This year, Rick Hancock, a long-time customer of ours,
commissioned us to make a custom ornament for his employees at Hancock
Management LLC. It is always a pleasure to work with Mr. Hancock, as he is full
of creative ideas and is, in fact, responsible for the designs of a few
ornaments that you would surely recognize. This year, he wanted to do a
hockey-themed ornament, hockey being a sport that he enjoys playing with his
grandchildren. We collaboratively worked together along with our artists and
came up with something truly unique and special. So please check out this

Hampshire Pewter releases the final ornament in the 12 Days of Christmas ornament series! We are thrilled to release our twelfth ornament featuring Twelve Drummers Drumming. The series is based on the classic Christmas carol with the Twelve Drummers representing the twelve points of doctrine in the Apostle's Creed. The ornament depicts twelve dignified men dressed in band jackets and soldier hats, beating their drums in unison. We have been building this collection for twelve years! BROOKFIELD, NH - 225th ANNIVERSARY
We have teamed up with the town of Brookfield, NH to make a
custom ornament in celebration of the town’s 225th anniversary. Incorporated
in 1794, the Town of Brookfield, New Hampshire is in Carroll County and is home
to Kingswood Lake. It is a small town with a population of only 712, according to
the 2010 United States Census Bureau, and has a mere 23.3 square miles of land.
Brookfield is proud to be a residential, rural community that has resisted the
commercial development seen in surrounding New Hampshire. It maintain's it's small-town serenity to this day.
