Commemorative Gifts
Another successful ornament for Triple-A-Designs and the Troy Victorian Stroll. This year, we created a very distinct and commemorative ornament for them. This 2023 ornament celebrates the poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas" also known as "Twas' the Night before Christmas." The poem first appeared in the Troy Sentinel on December 23, 1823. The front of the ornament is the information about the Sentinel story and the story appearing on page three of the paper. The back depicts the strolling man driving Santa's sleigh above Troy, NY. We love creating these ornaments for Triple-A Designs. They send us very detailed and complex drawings of their design desires, and then our artist's hand carves the original master in clay. The clay enters the technical process of casting the design in pewter. Make sure you get your ornament before they are all gone, and keep watch for 2024's design.
