St. George's 2021 Custom Ornament
St. George - Fireplace Stockings

St. George’s Independent School is an Episcopal school located in Tennessee. It teaches PK-12 with the PK-5 campuses located in Germantown and Memphis, while the 6-12 year students go to the Collierville campus. St George’s started as an idea in 1959 in a small Episcopal rectory. Within a year the school was created in Germantown and welcomed boys and girls of all religions and races. Now, 60 years later the school has 1200 students from 50 different zip codes.

As an Episcopal school, St. George’s is “dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, preparing students for a life of learning and meaningful contribution in an inclusive learning community that nurtures outstanding academic achievement, relationships, leadership and character reinforced by Judeo-Christian values.” It has a reputation for academic excellence, transformative diversity, and happy and successful pupils.

In the case of St. George's Independent School, our specific design requirement to work into this highly detailed piece was the school’s shield. The resulting product is our popular Fireplace Stockings ornament with the school's shield at the bottom. The shield features a sword between the initials S and G.
