Bichon frise Christmas Ornament

The Bichon Frise is affectionate, peppy, devoted and intelligent. They belong to the non-sporting group and have a life span of about 14-15 years. Bichons are a member of the clan of white dogs formally known as Barbichon. The Bichon Frise is always white. It is thought that these ancient breeds began their modern development on Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands. Bichons became known as the pampered and perfumed lapdogs of aristocrats due to their association with European nobles. Later they began working in street entertainment. Bichon are excellent candidates for showbiz as they are trainable, cute, agile and at their best when in the spotlight.
