A Classical Christian School - Custom Ornament
Redeemer Classical School is located in the beautiful setting of Keezletown, Virginia, nestled between vast green farmlands and the Blue Ridge Mountains. What began as a school of only fifteen middle school students, has now developed into an esteemed institute for children ranging from preschool to the eighth grade. The school has a mission statement, to partner with families to provide for the Christian discipleship of children through a classical education for the greater glory of God,” hoping for a society which possesses more goodness, truth and beauty. Redeemer implements the Classical educational approach, emphasizing grammar, logic and rhetoric. It is the only private Christian school in the Shenandoah Valley.
The design for the ornament was chosen by members and staff of the school which we then relayed to our artists. The oak tree is part of the school’s logo. On the backside of the ornament is a bible verse, “...that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.” — Isaiah 61:3 A griffin crest is also featured as well as the date the school was established to present.
